1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Cozora ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
Cozora operates this website and online store, including all related content, information, tools, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are hosted and powered by Shopify Inc.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cozora and govern your access to and use of the Services, as well as the purchase and use of any products offered through the Services.
BY ACCESSING, USING, OR PURCHASING FROM THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, INCLUDING THE ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER SET FORTH BELOW.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

3. ELIGIBILITY
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years old
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
All information you provide is accurate and current
Purchases are for personal, non-commercial use only, unless expressly authorized in writing by Cozora
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
4. PRODUCT CATEGORY AND INTENDED USE
The Cozora heated steam eye mask is a USB-powered electric warming eye mask for personal relaxation and comfort: a soft, light-blocking knit mask with contoured eye cups and an adjustable strap, operated through a small in-line controller. It offers three selectable warmth levels (approximately 35 °C / 45 °C / 55 °C, which is approximately 95 °F / 113 °F / 131 °F) with an on-controller temperature display, a multi-speed gentle vibration function with an indicator light, and an automatic shut-off timer. The mask operates only while connected by its USB cable to a suitable power source. It contains no battery.
The product:
Is a general consumer relaxation and comfort product, and is not a medical device, therapeutic device, or personal-care treatment device
Is intended for use only by adults, indoors, for ordinary personal relaxation, rest, and wind-down use over closed eyes, consistent with the included instructions
Is NOT intended for use by or on children, and is not a toy
Is described using the word "steam" to convey the gentle, warm, moist-feeling sensation the heated fabric creates against closed eyes; the product does not produce visible steam, mist, or water vapor, and no water is added to or emitted by the product
Fully blocks vision while worn; it must never be worn while driving, operating machinery, walking, or performing any activity that requires sight
You agree to use the product only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms and the instructions and safety information provided with the product.
5. GENERAL USE AND PHYSICAL SAFETY
This product is an electrically powered heating and vibration device worn over the eyes. To reduce the risk of injury, burns, electric shock, fire, or damage, you must observe the following:
Electrical safety
Power the mask only from a standard low-voltage USB power source consistent with the included instructions; do not use damaged, modified, or unsuitable adapters or cables
Do not use the product if the mask, controller, cable, or connector is damaged, frayed, wet, or malfunctioning
Never immerse the product in water or any liquid, and never allow the controller, cable, or connector to become wet
Never use the product in or near a bathtub, shower, sink, pool, or other water source
Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning
Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt to repair the product
Do not cover the controller during operation, and keep the product away from flammable materials and other heat sources during use
Heat and burn safety
Prolonged skin contact with warm surfaces can cause low-temperature burns, even at temperatures that feel comfortable
Start at the lowest warmth level and increase only if comfortable; do not use the highest warmth level for prolonged periods or while falling asleep
Use the automatic shut-off timer; do not bypass or ignore it
Discontinue use immediately if you experience pain, burning, excessive redness, irritation, or discomfort
Do not use on broken, damaged, irritated, swollen, or infected skin
Do not use, or consult a physician before use, if you have reduced ability to sense heat (for example due to diabetes or neuropathy), circulatory disorders, or any condition affecting skin sensitivity, and never provide the product to anyone unable to perceive heat properly or to remove the mask on their own
Eye-area safety
Remove contact lenses before use
Do not use following recent eye surgery or eye procedures, or if you have an active eye infection, inflammation, stye, or eye injury, except on the advice of a physician
If you have any eye condition or an implanted medical device, or if you are pregnant, consult a physician before use
Children and pets
Treat this as an adult product and keep it away from infants and children at all times; the cable and strap present strangulation and entanglement hazards, and the heating function presents a burn hazard for children
Never leave the product plugged in, operating, or within reach when unsupervised children or pets are present
Never use the product on a child
Discontinue use if the product becomes damaged, behaves abnormally, overheats, or otherwise appears unsafe.
6. CARE AND CLEANING
Proper care preserves the fabric, the heating function, and the electronics. You are responsible for following the care information provided with the product.
Unplug the product and allow it to cool completely before cleaning
Never machine wash, immerse, soak, or saturate the mask, controller, or cable; the product contains electrical components
Clean only by gentle spot-cleaning or wiping with a slightly damp cloth, consistent with the included care instructions, and allow the product to dry fully before use or storage
Do not use bleach, solvents, or harsh cleaning agents
Do not iron, tumble dry, dry clean, or expose the product to external heat sources
Do not pull, kink, crush, or wrap the cable tightly; store the product dry, away from moisture and direct sunlight
Damage caused by failure to follow the care instructions, including water or liquid damage, cable damage, or damage from improper cleaning, is considered misuse and is not a manufacturing defect
7. NO HEALTH OR MEDICAL CLAIMS
The Cozora heated steam eye mask is a general consumer relaxation and comfort product. The warmth and gentle vibration it provides are physical, sensory properties of the product. Descriptions of warmth, comfort, and relaxation describe how the product feels, not health or medical benefits.
The product is:
NOT a medical device, therapeutic device, or health device
NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, relieve, reduce, mitigate, manage, or prevent dry eye disease, blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, styes, eye strain, eye fatigue, migraines, headaches, insomnia, sleep disorders, anxiety, stress disorders, puffiness, dark circles, wrinkles, or any other disease, disorder, symptom, or medical, ophthalmic, or cosmetic condition
NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, ophthalmic or optometric care, or licensed healthcare services of any kind
The product is marketed solely for general wellness, relaxation, and comfort. It is not a medical device within the meaning of the U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and it has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for any medical purpose.
Any references on the Services to "warmth," "comfort," "relaxation," "rest," "wind-down," "better evenings," "sleep ritual," or similar phrases describe a warming comfort product and a customer's subjective comfort preference. They are not promises of any health benefit, symptom relief, or medical outcome. If you experience eye discomfort, dry eyes, headaches, sleep problems, or any health concern, consult a licensed physician or eye-care professional. Do not rely on this product, and do not delay or replace medical care, for any health condition.
Individual experiences vary widely. No specific warmth, comfort, relaxation, sleep, or symptom outcome is guaranteed.
8. PRODUCT SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
This product is a consumer electronic comfort product and is sourced from third-party manufacturers. We require our manufacturing partners to provide products that comply with applicable U.S. consumer product safety, electrical, and labeling requirements, including:
The Consumer Product Safety Act and, where applicable, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)
Applicable Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requirements for electronic devices, including 47 CFR Part 15, where applicable
Applicable U.S. electrical and product safety standards for low-voltage consumer heating and massage appliances
The Textile Fiber Products Identification Act and the Care Labeling Rule (16 CFR Parts 303 and 423), to the extent applicable to the product's fabric components
Any certifications, test reports, compliance documentation, or safety representations relating to the materials, fabric, electronics, heating elements, controller, cable, or construction of the product originate from the supplier or manufacturer and are supplier representations only. They are not independent compliance attestations made by Cozora.
No representation or warranty is made by Cozora that the product meets all applicable safety or labeling standards under all conditions of use. The actual material composition and country of origin are stated on the product or its packaging and labeling.
CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including DEHP (di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. 9. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use or misuse of the product, including but not limited to:
Skin sensitivity, irritation, or allergic reaction to the fabric, materials, or finishes
Low-temperature burns or heat-related skin injury from prolonged use, use of higher warmth levels, use while asleep, or use contrary to these Terms
Eye-area discomfort or aggravation of pre-existing eye or skin conditions, including where the product is used contrary to the eye-area safety warnings above
Electric shock, short circuit, overheating, or fire arising from liquid exposure, damaged components, unsuitable power sources, or misuse
Strangulation, entanglement, or burn risk if the product is used by, or left within reach of, children or pets, contrary to these Terms
Tripping, falling, or entanglement caused by the cable, or by moving around while wearing a vision-blocking mask
Reliance on the product for any health, comfort, sleep, or symptom outcome, contrary to the No Health or Medical Claims section above
Any injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse, improper use, improper cleaning, or failure to discontinue use upon observing any problem
Your purchase and use of this product constitutes your voluntary assumption of these risks.
10. PRODUCT PRESENTATION DISCLAIMER
Product images, videos, descriptions, testimonials, and marketing materials are for illustrative purposes only.
Actual product appearance, color, texture, and feel may vary. Color may differ between screens and from one production run to another due to normal dye-lot variation. The word "steam" in the product name describes the gentle, warm, moist-feeling sensation of the heated fabric against closed eyes and does not represent that the product produces visible steam, mist, or water vapor.
Testimonials and reviews about warmth, comfort, relaxation, or sleep reflect individual experiences and do not represent typical results. No representation is made that any testimonial result is typical or achievable by consumers generally, and no health, comfort, relaxation, or sleep outcome is implied or guaranteed.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time without notice.
11. ORDERS AND BILLING
All orders constitute an offer to purchase and may be accepted or rejected at our discretion.
Orders generally cannot be modified or canceled once placed.
You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due.
We reserve the right to cancel orders suspected of fraud, abuse, or unauthorized resale.
12. SHIPPING AND INTERNATIONAL FULFILLMENT
Orders ship directly from international fulfillment partners, primarily located in China, to the customer in the United States. Goods do not transit through Germany at any point.
Cozora does not maintain warehousing, retail, or fulfillment operations in either the United States or Germany.
You acknowledge that:
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
Delays due to customs or carriers may occur
Accurate shipping information is your responsibility
Orders marked as delivered by the carrier are considered fulfilled
13. RETURNS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, including the 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
We reserve the right to contest improper chargebacks or abusive dispute behavior.
Customers engaging in excessive or fraudulent disputes may be refused future service.
14. USER CONTENT LICENSE
By submitting reviews, images, videos, or other content, you grant Cozora a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use such content for marketing, promotional, and business purposes.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Services is owned by Cozora or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.
16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any warranty or other right that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT.
18. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold Cozora harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from misuse of the product or violation of these Terms.
19. INFORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact support@trycozora.com and allow 30 days for informal resolution.
20. ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis
No class actions or representative claims
Arbitration may take place remotely or in New York, New York
Small claims court remains permitted
Opt-Out: You may opt out within 30 days of purchase by emailing support@trycozora.com with your full name and order number.
21. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without depriving consumers of mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including those of their state of residence.
22. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
You consent to receive communications electronically.
23. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
24. SEVERABILITY AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Cozora.
